The rumors are flying fast and furious as to what Apple might unveil at what is expected to be the roll out of an iPad 5 on October 15.
There had been talk that Apple's been experimenting with larger screens, but if that happens we're not likely to see it until next year. Count on the iPad 5 to maintain the 9.7-inch display size and cost the same (starting at $499) as the current model, but with improvements.
An upgraded A7 64-bit processor could likely power the device, giving the new iPad a performance boost and new opportunities for developers.
Apple typically upgrades the camera in new models so that also seems likely.
Users would welcome faster charging and longer battery life, but we'll just have to see if Apple is ready to deliver that.
