Evernote iOS update adds business card scanning and presentation mode

by David Needle

December 16 2013

The popular Evernote app for iPad has an update that adds a business card scanner note option and Presentation Mode.

The latter lets you show your notes and even sketch out ideas on the big screen by connecting your iPhone or iPad via AirPlay or a cable to work with a note in Evernote.

With the business card scan feature you simply choose the business card option from the photo note capture mode of Evernote and take a photo of the card. (The card data then becomes editable so you can correct any mistakes).

The end result is you that you now have a business card contact in Evernote as well as the original image. (Source article)
