So much for the much-rumored iPad Pro, a super-sized iPad with a 12.9-inch display.
Well, at least according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, who claims Apple is unlikely to release such a model.
Ming-Chi Kuo predicts in a report that overall iPad shipments will actually decline this year because he expects the iPad Air will be the only iPad model to see a refresh in 2014. He expects the iPad Air to gain a next-generation A8 processor and Touch ID fingerprint sensor late in the third quarter of 2014.
While he doesn't dispute Apple is likely working on a larger iPad, he said in the report obtained by AppleInsider that the bigger iPad is unlikely to be ready for release this year.Source article
