A bit of the secret to what it takes to reach the top spot in Apple’s App Store was revealed by the marketing director for Ukranian app maker Readdle.

While the U.S. remains more of a mystery for getting to #1, Denys Zhadanov, marketing director at Readdle, shared in a blog post spotted by CNet how many downloads it took for his company’s iPhone to reach the top of the charts in different countries.

You can see from the numbers below that there’s quite a disparity with Germany the toughest for Readdle to reach the most downloads at 88,310 and Ireland the least at only 4,100 downloads.

Readdle’s Printer Pro app for iPhone has yet to make it to the top spot in the U.S. App Store list, but on April 15 it reached #10 in the US with 80,000 daily downloads.
