Apple will send out press invites for the iPad Mini event on October 10, with the event to take place just a week later, according to a new report.
Citing an un-named source, Fortune says that all of this will culminate in the tablet coming to market towards the end of the month, with the news website estimating that the iPad Mini could hit retail shelves on Friday, November 2. Apple declined to comment on the rumor.
The iPad Mini is expected to sport a 7.85-inch display, run the new iOS 6 operating system and tip up with 8GB or 16GB of memory as well as a single camera.
Analysts say that the WiFi-only tablet will sell for somewhere between $249 and $329, and there has been much discussion over the name recently with suggestions ranging from iPad Mini or iPad Nano to iPad Air.
