Microsoft teases Lenovo's new 8-inch Windows 8 tablet

by TabTimes Staff

June 7 2013

It looks like Acer’s Iconia W3 won’t be the only sub 10-inch Windows 8 tablet for too much longer. Microsoft recently showed a Windows tablet of the same size from Lenovo.

Microsoft marketing manager Leigha Anderson unveiled the “Miix 8” at the Computex exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan this week and while both Microsoft and Lenovo were unwilling to discuss specifications, they did reveal that the device will have 3G connectivity and “a lot of accessories like a folio and a pen”.

Chinese-language website Win8China has since published purported images of the 8-inch tablet, which appear to show that the device has a silver aluminium back, a rear camera and 16:10 aspect display ratio.
