by TabTimes Staff

June 25 2013

Acer’s Iconia W3, the first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet, is now on sale in the U.S.

The 32GB version starts from $350 at Office Depot and Staples, while the 64GB model is only available for online pre-order at Office Depot.

The Iconia W3 was leaked months before it was officially announced and it sports a 1280 x 800 resolution display, a dual-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor, 2GB of RAM and front and rear facing cameras.

The slate also offers connections for micro USB, micro HDMI and microSD and comes pre-installed with Office Home and Student 2013. Acer estimates the model’s battery life to be around eight hours.
