Whisper it quietly but Nokia may finally be ready to enter the tablet market. The Finnish phone maker is apparently planning to unveil a Windows 8.1 tablet in September, and could also launch a phablet in November.

Citing an anonymous tipster who claimed to have seen Nokia’s product roadmap,  Nokiapoweruser reports that Nokia will announce a first tablet – with data from AT&T – in the last week of September.

The model will most likely run Windows 8.1, which would perhaps not be much of a surprise considering the firm reportedly previously cancelled plans to launch a Windows RT tablet.

But that’s not all that is going on the Finnish firm. The Lumia handset maker is also apparently planning to announce a phablet in the first week of November and could announce dual-SIM Lumia phone – which would be handy for business users – in October.

The tablet rumor certainly ties in with previous reports of Nokia announcing its first tablet at a New York press event on September 26.
