Nokia’s Lumia 2520 tablet will be available through Verizon and AT&T later this week

by TabTimes Staff

November 19 2013

The wait is almost over for those of you looking to get your hands on Nokia’s first Windows RT tablet. It has now been confirmed that both Verizon and AT&T will start selling the slate later this week.

AT&T first announced that it was to offer the tablet from November 22 but Verizon appears to have gotten the upper hand now that it has confirmed it intends to sell the device one day earlier.

Pricing remains the same from both carriers; the tablet will be offered at $500 contract-free or for a $400 on a two-year term. Verizon though is sweetening the deal by also offering the red version of the tablet to online buyers (retail buyers will have to make do with the black edition).

Nokia announced the Lumia 2520 tablet last month but is reportedly already working on a second, smaller Windows RT tablet called the Lumia 2020.
