Is Sony about to get out of the PC business? That would appear to be the case based on reports Lenovo is in talks to buy Sony's PC division.
But for now, Sony marches on. The company is now shipping the Vaio Fit 11a convertible with Windows 8.1 that it showed off at CES last month.
The 11.6 inch convertible works like a notebook or a tablet, supports digital pen input, has a full HD display, and has a starting price of $799 for a model with a Pentium Bay Trail processor.
Standard features also include 4GB of RAM, a 128GB solid state drive, HDMI, USB 3.0, NFC, and a backlit keyboard as well as a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display.
It's available now in the U.S. at the Sony Store online.Source article
