HP plans to launch two new lines of business-oriented 10-inch Windows tablets with Intel Atom Bay Trail processors this spring.
The HP ElitePad 1000 is a premium model with a metal case, 4GB of RAM, at least 64GB of storage, support for a digital pen, and optional cellular connectivity.
The less expensive HP ProPad 600 has a plastic case and options for configurations starting at 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Pricing is not yet available.
The 1.5 lbs. ElitePad 1000 will offer a choice of 64GB or 128GB of storage, optional HSPA+ and LTE connectivity, and support for ElitePad expansion jackets with extra goodies such as extended batteries, keyboards, and security features.Source article
