Windows-Intel tablets with 4G/LTE capability are few and far between

Looking for a Windows 8.1 tablet with 4G/LTE broadband capability? The good news is you won't have to pick among dozens of models to find one.

For instance, the relatively-comprehensive Microsoft Store tablet page shows no Windows 8.1/Intel tablets with 4G. And Best Buy lists one among dozens. Verizon and AT&T, at least as of this writing, don't list any either.

There are exceptions. Lenovo says its new ThinkPad 8 will come with a 4G option. Hewlett-Packard's new 10.1-inch ElitePad 1000 (PDF) Windows 8.1 tablet is also available with built-in 4G and Microsoft offers a Surface and Nokia Lumia 2520 Windows RT models that are LTE capable.
