Asus' latest promotional video hints that a 7-inch or 8-inch Transformer tablet could debut at the Computex exhibition next month.

The one-minute video sees Asus show a number of mysterious products, including hybrid laptops and what looks to be a smaller Transformer tablet with a stylus.

The Taiwanese vendor didn't mention the Transformer brand, but did repeat the word “transform” on more than one occasion.

The firm's Transformer tablets, which include the Transformer Prime and Transformer Pad Infinity, have always used 10.1-inch screens, but it may be that the company is now re-evaluating that strategy with the first 7-inch and 8-inch Windows 8 tablets on the horizon.

Asus will hold its Computex press conference on June 3.
