A Foxconn tablet could find its way to 7-Eleven shelves

by TabTimes Staff

August 19 2013

Milk, Cheetos, and ... a tablet? As strange as that combination may sound, 7-Eleven shoppers in may one day have the option, at least in Taiwan, to fill their shopping carriers with just such a trio of items.

Apple supplier Foxconn is reportedly in talks with the 7-Eleven chain to make smartphones and tablets.

Talks between the two firms are already underway, according to the Wall Street Journal, which also notes that Foxconn is already making 7-Eleven-branded television sets that sell on the 7-Eleven Web site and that are also available at more than 4,800 7-Eleven stores across Taiwan.
