Verizon unwraps $5 daily data plan for tablets

by TabTimes Staff

November 22 2013

You no longer have to pay a high monthly fee to connect your tablet to Verizon’s 4G LTE network for just a day.

The carrier now offers a daily plan that gets you 300MB of data over 24 hours for $5, and there's no activation fees. If you use up the 300MB in a 24 hour period, $5 more gets you another 300MB.

You will need to have a Verizon SIM in your device in order to get service.

AT&T already offers a similar plan though it covers only 250MB of data. T-Mobile offers all tablet users 200MB of data a month just for being on their network.
