Back in January AT&T announced plans to carry the Asus PadFone X smartphone/tablet hybrid at CES, but until now we didn't know what the specs of the device would be.
While availability and pricing still isn't known, AT&T has now revealed the specs of the PadFoneX hybrid device.
It is first a 5-inch smartphone that measures 5.66 by 2.85 by 0.39 inches and weighs 5.29 ounces. It docks into the back of a 9-inch tablet that measures 9.85 by 6.78 by 0.45 inches and weighs an additional 18.1 ounces. It runs Android 4.4 (KitKat).
The PadFone X is powered by a 2.3Ghz quad-core processor and includes a 13MP camera and 2MP front-facing camera.
AT&T isn't holding back in positioning the PadFone as a cutting edge device. "Those waiting to get their hands on one of the most innovative devices of the decade, the ASUS PadFone X, are one step closer. Stay tuned for ordering and availability details," said AT&T's Ryan Lee in the blog post.
