Amazon's Kindle MatchBook lets print customers get eBooks on the cheap

In an effort to get more people reading eBooks, Amazon has introduced Kindle MatchBook, a new feature which lets print buyers get Kindle editions of print books for $2.99 or less.

The program already has over 10,000 books from some of the world’s most famous authors and Amazon is now urging others to enrol in Kindle MatchBook, in a bid to increase their revenue stream while offering greater value to customers.

Kindle MatchBook gives customers the option to buy the Kindle edition of print books they have purchased for $2.99, $1.99, $0.99 or even for free. If that isn’t enticing enough, Amazon says the deal applies for any book you’ve purchased on Amazon since it launched back in 1995.

Amazon’s Kindle MatchBook feature will launch next month.
