The fourth edition of an eReader conference, now named TAB ePaperWorld, will be held next week in Montreal, Canada.

While previous editions focused on eReaders, this year’s conference will also cover tablets - hence the change of name.

A two day event  (February 20 and 21), TAB ePaperWorld will feature presentations and panel discussions about the impact of eReaders and tablets across many industries, with a technological, social and business perspective (see the program).

The International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF) is the leading sponsor of the event and TabTimes is a media partner. TabTimes’ CEO, Patrick Pierra, will host a panel about technology and market trends on February 20 at 11 AM.

Speaker highlights include:

  • Benjamin H Paletsky,  Product Manager - Global Marketing, E ink Holding
  • Samuel Parent, Vice President, IAB Canada
  • Alexandre Thabet, President, Ludia
  • Ric Wright, Director of Engineering, Readium Foundation

TAB ePaperWorld will be held at the Palais des congres de Montreal.

(For enterprise and work-related use of tablets, don’t miss the upcoming Tablet Strategy conference on May 6 in New York.)
