EA Mobile's top games will soon be "culturalized" for Chinese audiences.

With the success of the Shanghai branch of PopCap's China-exclusive Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall, EA Mobile has tasked the studio with giving other top tablet IPs a similar treatment.

PopCap Greater China General Manager Leo Liu told Games in Asia that the studio will focus on "a few top priority projects” beginning in April 2014. Those projects might include new, China-specific mobile and tablet versions of FIFA, Need for Speed, Heroes of Dragon Age and Battlefield.

What shape these games will ultimately take is unclear, but it seems EA Mobile is definitely serious about reaching Chinese audiences.
