The 10-inch Android tablet is now being offered with a Desktop Dock and Bluetooth keyboard, while Polaris Office software is on-board so that students can create, share and store documents.
The slate, which is available in black and white, also comes bundled with a one-year free subscription to a 50GB Dropbox account and a three-month pass to Hulu Plus.
As with the more conventional Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, the tablet features a 1280 x 800 PLS display, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, stereo speakers and a 3.15MP camera.
The product is available for $349.99, a $100 saving on the usual retail price, and can be purchased from Best Buy, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, Office Max and others.
This isn’t the first time Samsung has discounted its Galaxy tablets for education, with the Korean firm offering a similar bundled deal for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 just last year.
