Unveiled at Samsung’s Premiere 2013 event at the end of June, the Ativ Tab 3 boasts a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 resolution display, 2GB of RAM, a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor, 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded via the micro SD slot.
The Ativ Tab 3 starts from $599 but won’t be shipped until August 25. The tablet comes pre-installed with Office 2013 but adding the optional keyboard will cost another $100.
Amazon had listed the tablet for the first time on Tuesday but the product page now shows the device as “currently unavailable”.
Despite this news, it remains to be seen when Samsung will release its high-end Windows 8 tablet, the Ativ Q.
The tablet was unveiled at the same London event and has a 13.3-inch 3200 x 1800 native resolution display.
It runs both Android 4.2.2 and Windows 8 and users will even be able to ‘pin’ Android apps to their Windows 8 home screen.
