Samsung’s Notebook 9 Windows laptop models have always been among the lightest and thinnest such devices you can buy. Today, the company announced that it is refreshing its Samsung Notebook 9 13.3-inch and 15-inch models with the latest 7th generation Core Intel processors and more.

The 13.3-inch version of the Windows 10 Home notebook will weigh just 1.8 pounds, which Samsung claims is the lightest in the market. Customers can get either Core i5 or Core i7 processors inside, with between 8GB to 16GB of RAM. The 15-inch version will weight 2.17 pounds and come with Intel Core i7 chips and 8GB of RAM. Both will have 256GB of onboard SSD storage, along with a 1920×1080 display that supports high dynamic range (HDR) video. The display will also recline to 180 degrees.

Inside, the battery in both Samsung Notebook 9 models will last up to seven hours. It will also support fast charging, with 2.1 hours of use after just 20 minutes of being plugged in, and a full charge after just 80 minutes.  The notebooks also include one single USB-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, a HDMI port and a microSD card slot.

In addition, both models come with a fingerprint sensor that supports Windows Hello, meaning you’ll be able to use your fingerprint to sign into your PC.

Samsung has yet to announce a release date or pricing for these new Notebook 9 models, but we would expect they will be on the expensive side for laptops. It’s likely the company will reveal more info on price and availability at CES 2017 in a few weeks.
