The larger model also comes with a USB Type-C / Thunderbold port, Volcano Keycap keyboard, a larger 93Wh battery, but its graphics card is yet to be determined. “The Samsung Notebook Odyssey was designed specifically with gamers in mind and is equipped with exclusive features to offer users one of the best gaming notebook available on the market. Today, serious and even casual gamers seek computing devices that not only pack power for intense graphics-rich games but also feature a stylish and portable design. ” – YoungGyoo Choi, Senior Vice President of Samsung’s PC Business Team
Samsung also boasts about its cooling system inside the Notebook Odyssey series, which it calls the HexaFlow Vent, and heat shouldn’t be an issue with the more efficient 7th gen CPU and NVIDIA’s Pascal GPU architecture. Owners can also open the HexaFlow Vent, which is located on the bottom panel of the device, to upgrade their storage and memory more easily.
Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t talked about a release date or a price point for these new gaming laptops yet, but the specifications look rather tempting.
