Don't let the high price tags stop you from enjoying these Android games on your tablet of choice.

Except for Expensive Button. That's on here as a joke. Please don't buy it.

  • 1 Chaos Rings 2
    Slide 1

Chaos Rings 2 is a fully-fledged Square Enix RPG, which means it rivals the Final Fantasy series in terms of quality. These days that might not mean much, but it's a great experience on a tablet nevertheless.

  • 2 Final Fantasy VI
    Slide 2

Speaking of Final Fantasy—FF6 is arguably the best in the series, and with its launch on Android (and iOS) this year you have one fewer reason to dust off your SNES. This is definitely worth the steep asking price.

  • 3 RPG Spectral Souls
    Slide 3

It's another solid RPG at another high price. RPGs just cost more I guess.

  • 4 Chrono Trigger
    Slide 4

OK, Chrono Trigger is the last RPG on this list. I swear. But as one of the best RPGs ever made I couldn't leave it off, could I? Considering I paid $60 for the Super Nintendo cartridge in high school, $10 is a pittance.

  • 5 Deathsmiles
    Slide 5

Ahh, finally. Deathsmiles may look sort of like a JRPG, but it's actually a classic shoot-em-up by Cave. Just goes to show a game doesn't have to be an RPG to be expensive—it just needs to have a legacy.

  • 6 Soul Calibur
    Slide 6

Fighting games can be expensive too! Soul Calibur is one of the greats, though, so it's probably worth it.

  • 7 Expensive Button

    Expensive Button

And lastly there's Expensive Button. It costs $50, and it literally does nothing. Technically it is categorized as a game, but again, it does nothing. I included it as a joke. Please do not buy it. That is all.
