The Tabby Awards /Business, which recently started accepting submissions to its 2014 competition, now announces that Alex Bratton and Jeff Klaumann will co-chair the judging panel this year.

The panel’s chairperson, Alex Bratton, is the author of “Billion Dollar Apps: How to find and implement a winning mobile strategy”. As CEO of Lextech, a leading mobile app consulting and development firm which has served Fortune 5000 brands, Alex has first-hand knowledge of business app design and how to assess their effectiveness.

“Enterprise apps are fundamentally changing the workplace as we know it,” said Bratton. “Many of the organizations I work with have employees doing their entire jobs from a tablet. That isn’t an incremental change, it’s profound, and I’m thrilled to be part of a competition that is recognizing the businesses that are at the forefront of this exciting transformation.”

Jeff Klaumann is leading mobile app strategy and development at Samsung’s Media Solutions Center America as Head of Samsung Apps. He will act as co-chair and will make a specific contribution as one of several experts set to review Android business apps.

The Tabby Awards /Business is the only competition for the best Android, iPad and Windows tablet apps for business, productivity and enterprises.

Now in its third year, it welcomes submissions from app developers and publishers, as well as from organizations who commission custom apps, from all over the world. While most judges are US-based, Australia, Canada, Hungary, Israel and New Zealand will also be represented this year on the judging panel of this global competition.

Leading app publishers and corporations like Autodesk, Box, Brainshark, Citi, Citrix, GE, MicroStrategy, Philips, Revel Systems, SAP and ScrollMotion won awards in previous editions of the Tabby Awards /Business.

Which apps will be declared as Finalists and Winners in 2014? The only sure thing is that, to be considered, apps must first be entered in the competition. Check the Tabby Awards /Business site to:
