In this newly created position, Pia will be working to drive our events business on the front lines and to raise awareness for TabTimes in the tablet ecosystem and in the media.
She comes to us from Silverstein Properties, which is developing the World Trade Center in New York City. As a marketing communications associate for the company, Pia Andrea has been involved in high-profile press conferences, worked on video productions and produced interviews with high-ranking government and business leaders.
Based in New York, Pia reports to Steven Lang, managing editor and business director, who leads our events and business products strategy and content. She will closely work with all our team members, including Associate Publisher Rick Vandervoorn and Editor George Jones.
In the upcoming months, Pia Andrea will focus most of her efforts on our first conference, TabTimes TABLET STRATEGY, to be held on April 27 in NYC. This first event, announced just two weeks ago, has already met a very encouraging response from the tablet industry: we look forward to an exciting and enlightening conference. You will meet Pia Andrea at TABLET STRATEGY, but also on the various social platforms where she will energize our brand. "I fully endorse TabTimes' mission of helping managers transform their work and their business through the use of tablets," she said. "I'm excited to be a part of the TabTimes team and look forward to engage with the tablet evangelists and the tablet project leaders who drive the next revolution in business."
