TabTimes is now open for business: Welcome to the #1 site about tablets at work

Today marks an important moment in the history of TabTimes. Until now, if you’ve been reading us—and we’re encouraged that almost 100,000 of you have—you’ve found our stories via Twitter or Facebook or Google. Starting today, however, we’re happy to announce that we just added a front door to the business we’re building at (Go ahead, check it out.)

With an editorial team of experienced tech journalists based in San Francisco, the Silicon Valley, New York and London, the TabTimes web site is a new reference point for the tablet ecosystem and, more generally, for managers, professionals and business people looking to use tablets for business, work and productivity.

Many media outlets cover the tablet craze. TabTimes is the only one to focus exclusively on tablets and their business and work-related uses.

We’ve organized the TabTimes site into three main sections:

  • News: Throughout the day, our editorial team reports on the latest and most important developments in the tablet industry and its growing ecosystem. Our goal is to keep you informed of the changes which are relevant to your business and/or productivity.
  • Features+ are deeper and more exclusive reports. They will include interviews with industry players, on-site reports on how organizations around the world use and deploy tablets, hands-on reviews of the highest-profile devices, lists of best apps and accessories, and actionable how to articles.
  • Analysis: This is where industry insiders, columnists and our own editors make sense of big stories. We’ll shed insight, comment upon and analyze key industry trends. In a few weeks, TabTimes members will be able to participate in the debate by posting comments.

Our web site complements TabTimes Daily Update, the daily newsletter which was launched a few weeks ago and has quickly become a daily must-read for tablet professionals around the globe. (You can subscribe to this free newsletter by registering here.)                               

TabTimes is committed to provide high-value information services to the tablet ecosystem. We have also announced TabTimes TABLET STRATEGY, a business conference that will explore the most effective ways to deploy tablets in organizations, which will be held on April 27, 2012 in New York.

In the coming months, we will also launch a tablet magazine, as an iPad app, for managers, professionals and business people.
