In the world of inexpensive tablets, Android powered devices have been leading the way. Unfortunately, the word ‘cheap’ sometimes refers not only to the price tag, but also to the overall build quality and user experience with low end hardware. A new Microsoft Windows tablet is hitting store, probably not near you, that clocks in at about $48, but is it worth looking at?
The inexpensive new tablet is the Ployer MOMO7W, a 7-inch Windows tablet with 1024×600 screen resolution, an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Speaking on his first quarterly earnings call on Wednesday, Krzanich stressed that Intel is now watching out for the “next big thing”, after coming late to the tablet party.
"We've not always lived up to the standard we've set for ourselves," said Krzanich, in comments reported by The Verge and other tech publications.
However, despite Intel’s late move in the mobility space, Krzanich is confident that consumers will be able to get their hands on seriously cheap Bay Trail-powered tablets, for “$199 and below” as the year wears on.
