Google takes on Box & Dropbox with Google Drive

Google Drive offers users 5GB of free storage with several upgrade options: 25GB for $2.49/month; 100GB for $4.99/month; and a whopping 1TB (terabyte) for $49.99/month. 

Box offers 5GB of free storage already, while Dropbox offers 2GB and both offer upgrade options.

When you upgrade to any of the paid Drive accounts, Google will automatically upgrade your Gmail account storage to 25GB.

Google Docs update delivers improved support for Android tablets

With its most recent release of its Google Doc app for Android devices, Google announces some new tablet-optimized features for Android Honeycomb tablets, including full-screen HD reading of documents, and the ability to swipe between pages to move through a document. 

For the first time, the update also permits users to mark documents as available for offline use, and then view and edit, these files while offline. The app automatically syncs documents when it has a Wi-Fi connection.
