How to turn off the keyboard noise on your iPad

It is a very distinctive and familiar sound to many at this point, the electronic clickity-clack of the keyboard on Apple’s iOS powered mobile devices, like your iPad. But what if you just don’t want to hear this noise anymore, how do you turn it off?
