The FabricSkin Keyboard Folio, Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, Ultrathin Keyboard Folio and Folio Protective Case are all designed to fit the iPad Air and are due to launch starting from next month. The tablet itself is expected to hit U.S. retail stores on November 1.
The Ultrathin Keyboard Folio costs $99 and offers an integrated Bluetooth keyboard, stand and battery (which can last for up to three months). The aluminium Ultrathin Keyboard Cover comes in at the same price but lets users dock the iPad and use the cover as a stand.
The Folio Protective Case is predictably markedly cheaper at $49.99 as it doesn’t come with a keyboard, although it does sport an [...]
In the same week as Apple launched the iPad Air and Retina Display iPad mini, leading accessory makers Zagg and Kensington unleashed their first products for the new 9.7-inch Apple tablet.
Zagg’s products include the ZAGGkeys Folio and Cover at $99.99 apiece, while there is also the option to buy the ZAGG invisbleSHIELD (34.99 and up) and covers and headphones from the firm’s iFrogz brand.
Kensington also has a selection of new products for the tablet and says that they are equally adept at being used by consumers or business folk. The firm’s Comercio range ($39.99) is an array of colourful hard and soft cases for the iPad Air, while the [...]

Testing it with our iPad 2, we found that we were able to pull an additional 5.5 hours of video playback out of the tablet when connected to the ZAGGsparq–an impressive amount of backup power to say the least.

While constructed entirely of plastic, the ZAGGfolio provides a reasonable amount of protection for your tablet when the case is closed as well as a firm, stable typing experience when opened.
The ZAGGfolio’s keyboard, while no longer than the iPad 2 itself, provides a cramped, but comfortable typing experience, with a respectable amount of key travel. While the keys themselves are smaller than we'd have liked, we had no trouble touch-typing after a few minutes of trial and error.
The keyboard includes a number of iPad-specific shortcut commands and directional keys that saved us from having to interact with our iPad's touchscreen while typing. It [...]
