Unread users spend less time scanning thousands of headlines from multiple RSS feeds and more time reading articles.

Its clean, minimalist interface focuses on full-screen reading, without any distractions, and makes it the Instapaper of RSS feeds.

The new iPad app is very similar to the iPhone version: it’s almost just an enlarged version. But this is not a bad thing and several early reviews have been very positive.

“Unread is one of the better news readers for iOS because it's clean, easy to use, and really spotlights actually reading articles,” writes Lifehacker.

“Unread for iPad's structure is very easy to understand” (512 pixels).

It provides “a comfortable reading experience” (AppAdvice) and "a clean, friendly reading environment" (Macstories).

The app syncs with the following RSS services: FeedWrangler, Feedbin, Feedly, Fever, NewsBlur. It is sold at $4.99.
