Apple’s many electronic hardware products over the years have won praise for their simple but still elegant and functional designs. Now, the company plans to celebrate its unique design themes in its devices with a new coffee table book called “Designed by Apple in California.” It is scheduled to go on sale on Wednesday, November 16.

The book features 450 photographs of Apple’s products, starting with the 1998 version of the iMac all the way to 2015 with the launch of the Apple Pencil. In between we saw the launch of the first iPod, iPhone and iPad, along with many Mac PC and other products. In addition to the photos, the book will also highlight the “materials and techniques used by Apple’s design team” to create its product lines.

Apple said it has been working on this hardcover book for the past eight years. It will be offered in both small and large sizes, with both versions of the book printed on “specially milled, custom-dyed paper with gilded matte silver edges”. The small edition (10.20” x 12.75”) will cost $199 and the large version (13” x 16.25”)
 will be priced at $299.

Both editions will be sold online at the Apple Store websites in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the UK and the US. In addition, it will be on display and sold at several of the company’s brick-and-mortar retail stores in the US, including ones in New York City, Cupertino, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Palo Alto and San Francisco.
