Update, November 24: The Apple Black Friday event deals have now gone live in Australia and New Zealand, but they’re not very exciting. The ‘deals’ are restricted to bonus gift cards when you buy an Apple product, but the offer doesn’t apply to the iPhone 7, Apple Watch 2 or Touch Bar MacBooks – you know, the things you probably want to buy. The gift cards range from the equivalent of $25-$150, depending on the value of your purchase. You can see the details below.

It’s Thanksgiving, and that means Black Friday sales are here. On Friday, November 25th, shoppers will be scrambling from across the nation to nab the best deals on the biggest shopping day of the year. While Apple hasn’t been known to have particularly large sales this time of year, they do often introduce some pretty intense bundle deals.

This year the company is teasing its shopping event with a new “Holiday Gifts” page on their site. On the page, an Apple Watch is shown saving the date of Friday 25th, which is indeed Black Friday.

Here’s what is on offer in Australia and New Zealand, which may well hold true for other markets as the day progresses (prices in Australian dollars, with American conversion in brackets):

  • Buy an Apple Watch series 1 – AUD$35 ($25) on
  • Buy an Apple TV – AUD$35 ($25)
  • Buy an iPhone SE/6s/6s Plus – AUD$75 ($50)
  • Buy an iPad Pro (both sizes)/Air 2/mini 4 – AUD$140 ($100)
  • Buy a Mac from the list below – AUD$200 ($150)
    • 12-inch MacBook
    • 13-inch MacBook Pro – non-Touch Bar model
    • 15-inch MacBook Pro old model
    • MacBook Air
    • Mac Pro
    • iMac

Traditionally, the company has sold a number of discounted iTunes gift cards and Beats headphones and accessories during the event, which very well may show up this year as well. Especially with the iPhone 7 ditching the headphone jack, purchases of the “Beats Solo Wireless” will likely be quite numerous.

Other than the banner though, Apple isn’t saying much about their upcoming sale. Be sure to check back on Friday for all the best deals from Apple and beyond.

I can hear Holiday music already..
