These experts provide a unique opportunity for mobile and IT managers and professionals to learn from the success stories of other organizations who have deployed tablets and apps, to meet their peers, and to engage with the latest tablet innovations.

Now in its second year, the TabletBiz conference & expo will feature a combination of keynotes, panel discussions, and featured presentations. On the TabletBiz expo floor you'll see leading vendors showcase their business solutions and you'll be able to get hands-on experience with the latest innovations in tablet hardware and software.

Hear from tablet experts

The agenda will include over 20 speakers and panelists, including tablet experts and mobile professionals. The conference sessions will cover topics such as IT-friendly BYOD policies, corporate app development, app management practices, benefits of off-the-shelf vs. ruggedized tablets, challenges of security and cloud strategies, as well as specific discussions about how tablets empower sales and marketing and affect the media and retail industries.

Mark Bernardo is the general manager for GE Intelligent Platforms and is currently responsible for leading its global automation software business. Mark will share how tablets are letting managers on the factory floor view all of the applications required throughout manufacturing or infrastructure processes on one dashboard via their tablet.

Mike Barad is the Program Director of Mobile Solutions at investment research firm Morningstar. The company recently launched Morningstar for the iPad as a native app using its own in-house team. The company also has projects underway that allow for users to build customized apps based on a popular outsourced technology platform.
