FileMaker to phase out Bento database apps for iOS & Mac in September

In an announcement that was first spotted by The Verge, FileMaker confirmed the news by saying that it intends to concentrate on its FileMaker product line-up. “FileMaker, Inc. is increasing its focus on FileMaker Product Line software. Thanks to the ease of creating iPad and iPhone solutions, our customers' use of FileMaker on iOS is growing rapidly. The Dallas/Fort Worth area family-owned business designs approximately 120 pools a year and maintains an additional 200 pools every week.
